The UK’s Royal Society is to investigate whether ambitious engineering schemes could reduce the impact of global warming.

Several “geo-engineering” schemes have been proposed including putting mirrors into space and iron filings in oceans.

The society says these must be properly assessed – however fantastical.

But environmental groups warn that technological solutions should not divert attention away from reducing emissions of greenhouse gasses.

No, everything must be done, even if it involves the extraction of trillions of pounds of wealth from us commoners, to fight global warming, as the article states. I mean, after all these years of propaganda, calling it fighting climate change sounds fucking idiotic. Like humans can control the planets’ climate. No, it’s global warming. It took me about one minute to pull all of those links up. One fucking minute. I guess the climate change/ carbon tax industry is too big a cash cow to just let go. I mean, you can’t monopolise the ‘solution’ when people don’t believe there is a ‘problem’ to solve.

Although most don’t believe the official theory (where have I heard that before).

A cannibal cult mother who tortured her son in a locked cellar while relatives skinned him and forced him to eat his own flesh has been jailed for nine years.

Klara Mauerova, 31 – a member of a sinister religious cult and her sister Katerina led the sickening torture of her eight-year-old son Ondrej and his ten year-old brother Jakub.

A court in Brno in Czech Republic heard how relatives partially skinned Ondrej and forced him to eat his own flesh.

The judge also jailed Katerina, 35, for ten years for her role in the sickening abuse.

The two boys had told judges how their mother and relatives had stubbed cigarettes out on their bare skin, whipped them with belts, and tried to drown them. They were also sexually abused and forced to cut themselves with knives.

The terrified youngsters said they were kept in cages or handcuffed to tables and made to stand in their own urine for days.

The sick sisters – both members of weird religious cult the Grail Movement – refused to reveal why they tortured the brothers.

But state prosecutor Zuzana Zamoravcova said: ‘Their aim was to make the boys blindly serve their religious goals.’

Judge Pavel Goth said as he sentenced the women: ‘Their aim was to create a person with a completely broken will. Ondrej and Jakub were repeatedly psychologically and physically tyrannised and held in locked rooms.’

Sounds like amateurs from the MKULTRA program. This is fucking sick beyond belief. Humans are such fucking animals. Scum.

Another defendant, 34-year-old Barbora Skrlova, was also jailed for five years for her part in the torture. Three others who took part in the abuse were also given jail terms.

Hana Basova, 28, and Jan Skrla, 25, were sentenced to seven years each while another man, Jan Turek, was jailed for five years.

Skrlova had posed as an innocent 13-year-old girl when police arrived to free the boys. She later ran away to Norway but was traced earlier this year by Czech police who brought her back to face trial.

Mauerova at first admitted abusing her children but she said she had been manipulated by her sister Katerina and Skrlova.

All three of them had been part of the Grail Movement cult which claims to have hundreds of followers in Britain as well as tens of thousands of others world wide.

The sick abuse was discovered when a neighbour installed a TV baby monitor to keep watch on his new daughter.

But it picked up the signal from an identical monitor next door showing one of the victims beaten, naked and chained in a cellar.

Mauerova had installed it so she could gloat over her victims’ suffering from the comfort of her kitchen.

The defendants are expected to launch an appeal.

The president of the EU Commission says the bloc
must achieve “unprecedented” co-operation with Asia if the global
economic crisis is to be resolved.

Jose Manuel Barroso’s comments came as the leaders of 45
countries prepared to meet in Beijing at the weekend for the seventh
Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM).

Mr Barroso also said the situation was “a great opportunity for China to show a sense of responsibility”.

Human rights are also expected to feature heavily in talks.

This follows several recent diplomatic incidents over the issue.

“The present gathering could not be more timely,” Mr Barroso
told reporters in Beijing. “We face challenges which don’t respect any
borders.

“No-one in Europe or Asia can seriously pretend to be immune. We are
living in unprecedented times, and we need unprecedented levels of
global co-ordination.”

That would be to promote the type of world I outlined in a previous article, The End of Freedom. And that is all that this is. Manufactured events designed to condition the unwashed masses into accepting greater global centralisation of power and authority in the hands of fewer and fewer groups.

He also said the commission believed China should be given a greater voice in international financial institutions.

39 year old woman sleeps with 14 year old boy, walks free

Apparently it is because he ‘seduced’ her. A 14 year old seduced a 39 year old.

A mother who had sex with a 14-year-old walked free from court today after the judge said the boy seduced her.

Sharon Edwards’ husband, who suspected that she was having an affair, discovered that his love rival was a youngster from their two sons’ school.

The couple’s marriage was on the rocks when he began checking the 39-year-old’s computer for MSN messages and found his identity.

He told the boy’s mother who called in the police, said prosecutor Tina Dempster.

Blonde Edwards said that they had sex for the fourth and final time that night, and on another occasion it happened at her sister’s home when the sister was away.

Miss Dempster told Teesside Crown Court that Edwards’ husband Mark first became suspicious because she was exchanging 50 text messages a day with the boy.

The Edwards’s marriage was rocky by the end of 2007 and they decided to try to make a go of it.

But it became apparent to him by the end of October last year that his wife was having an affair. When he confronted her she denied it.

He spoke to her about the number of text messages she was sending to the boy but she said they were just having a laugh.

Yeah, it’s hilarious when female paedophiles get off scot-free. HAHAHA.
